Quality
Nothing is given higher priority at EXMAR than quality assurance. Our products are
used in areas where precision and reliability are key and can even be vital to life itself, i.e. in
the production of medical equipment,
in environmental protection and
under extreme
environmental conditions.
This reliability has also been officially recognised.
In 1994, we became one of the first companies in
our sector to achieve ISO 9001 certification,
the highest attainable standard of quality. Having repeated this in the year 2000, we then
obtained the new
quality
assurance certificate to ISO 9001/2000 in 2004.
This certificate has been renewed on May, 21 2007 by TÜV Süd.
Extensive product and quality checks at our production sites, which are located exclusively
within
Europe , and similar
checks during assembly and distribution comply with
t
he very highest of standards.
All EXMAR products are type tested and certified by
major German
and international product approval organisations, e.g. Germanischer Lloyd,
Det
Norske Veritas,
Lloyd’s Register and DVGW
.
