ASTORI has been working in the aeronautical market since 1942, manufacturing self-locking fasteners.
The know-how gained during this long
period, along with the continuous research in new designs and materials, and the
adoption of advanced manufacturing technologies allow them to operate
according to the most severe aerospace requirements.
The ASTORI Quality System complies with Quality System Standard ISO 9002; 1994 and AECMA-EASE prEN 9000-1 P.
In two production plants they manufacture hexagon nuts, anchor nuts, castellated nuts, barrel nuts, nylon insert lock nuts and washers. All heat treatments, protective treatments, surface treatments and non destructive tests are performed in-house using qualified equipment, materials and operators. The ASTORI product list currently includes over 2500 different fasteners.
Besides a full range of standard fasteners, ASTORI can address the most demanding customer needs by offering a proven experience in custom design and special product development. Their engineers can help in analyzing, designing and manufacturing special fasteners to solve any kind of joint problems.
Customers can be assisted at the early steps of the product analysis, through product design and prototyping, up to testing and product qualification.
Advanced numerical techniques based on
finite element modeling are employed to identify and study all
relevant mechanical performances under stress and fatigue.

Over the years ASTORI has gained a world wide recognized experience in processing aeronautical quality raw materials such as high tensile and eleastic strength steels (25CrMo4, 35CrMo4, 40NiCrMo7), precipation hardening steels ( 17-4PH, 15-5PH), high temperature resistance steels (A286, Inconel 718), good corrosion resistance steels (AISI 304, AISI 321), titanium 6A1-4V, and aluminum (1100, 2024, 6061, 7075) .
