The Dejond company, founded back in 1901, has acquired an unmatched
worldwide reputation in the cold forming technology field, more
specifically as the sole manufacturer of Tubtara blind nuts with
ISO 9002 certification. The company is present throughout Europe and the
USA, supplying the automotive industry in particular.
The Tubtara blind rivet nut allows
quick and easy threading of thin sheets and tubes and is an ideal solution
for complex assemblies where access to the back of a workpiece is difficult
or even impossible. The Tubtara is put into the punched hole, the fixing
tool is operated and then removed, all in a matter of seconds! Some of
the Tubtara blind nuts have a hexagonal shank, so that it does not rotate
when loosened (as in the case of rusty bolts, for example). But how can a
round hole be turned into a hexagon? This can be done easily with special
tool number DFS 109 TH.
As requested by its customers, the automotive industry in particular, the
company constantly develops new types of Tubtara. The current range is
available from factory stock in aluminium, steel, stainless steel, and brass in
standard and customized types to suit the requirements of the applications.
